Privacy Policy
This policy describes the information MealReply processes.

1. Event and response data
MealReply stores event details, meal options, guest names, choices, optional dietary notes, status, and timestamps. It does not require accounts or email addresses.
2. Private access links
Secrets stay in URL fragments, are sent to the API only when needed, and are stored by the server as cryptographic hashes.
3. Sensitive notes
Dietary notes may contain sensitive information. Only the organiser and the guest’s own receipt can access a note. Guests cannot see counts or other responses.
4. Technical data and analytics
Security logs may process IP address, user agent, and timestamps. Optional analytics loads only after consent and must not receive private URLs or response content.
5. Retention and deletion
A guest can permanently withdraw a response. The organiser can remove responses or delete the entire event. Operational backups may persist for a limited period.
